and the latest poll shows yet another front -runner change for the g- o-p... good evening thanks for joining us. i'm jodi whitworth. the republican party has seen first place leads come and go - but now donald trump firmly holds the number- one spot. trump has muscled his way back into the lead, according to the latest des moines register and bloomberg poll.. this is the last poll to be released before the iowa caucuses on monday night. trump stands at 28 percent, while rival ted cruz has slid to 23 percent... he's followed by macro rubio then dr. ben carson. the rest of the republican candidates are in the single digits for te democrats... the poll shows clinton is barely maintaining her lead over bernie sanders. at 45 - percent clinton is the top - pick for likely democratic caucus goers. bernie sanders is at 42 - percent despite the latest in the clinton email controversy... she drew a large crowd at iowa state today, where she focused on the

sending clean water their way members from the revival center of god in christ church handed out flyers at the "i'll make me a world" event" at hy - vee hall today. their goal is to fill a u - haul truck of bottled water and deliver it to families in need 130221 - once we collect all the donations we plan on going down to flint and delivering them to families in need, personally ourselves. and while we are down there finding more volunteer opportunities in the communities within the city you can donate supplies starting next saturday at 10-am at the revival center outreach ministries in des moines coming up after the break... random acts of kindness.... helped reunite a dog with its owner....

chili... hoping to win the title of 'best chili of the quad cities'. much of the money made during today's chili cook-off will go towards hand- in-hands summer camp program. one of the things we are trying to accomplish is we want people to be aware of the services we provide. so in addition to raising money for a great cause we what we really want is that for people with friends who need these services to know there is a place where they can go. here in the metro...a passer -by rescued a dog who wandered into the des moines river this afternoon. in the video you can hear the dog's owner say she can't swim.... and the stranger coaxed the dog out of the water... no word on who the person was ... just glad he was able to make it out safely.
